Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Hydroboost Brakes
This is a Chevy 1-Ton truck hydroboost power brake setup installed on a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. It bolted on, with some drilling, and the input push rod had to be shortened and threaded to accept the stock toyota brake linkage. Next step is to install the saginaw steering gear, the power steering pump was an easy-bolt on to the chevy 350.
![]() The pushrod and the sleeve around it move together, the pedal still has travel all the way to the floor. It looks like the push rod is pried up against the sleeve, but there is a gap between the two at the top that you can't see very well in the picture.
